The New York Knicks have been dealt a cruel blow with Bojan Bogdanovic’s latest injury.

The 35-year-old veteran forward fell on Sunday during the Knicks’ 97-92 Game 4 first-round victory over the Philadelphia 76ers.

Early in the second quarter, Bogdanovic and Nic Batum chased a loose ball, with the latter losing his balance and appearing to fall directly into the Croatian star’s left leg.

After initially writhing on the court in pain, he was finally able to limp to the locker room.

Unfortunately, this marked the end of Bogdanovic’s season.

It was reported Tuesday that he will undergo season-ending surgery on his foot and wrist, according to The Athletics’ Shams Charania.

The wrist problem in question predates Sunday’s incident, according to ESPN.

Disappointed fans quickly shared their feelings on X, formerly known as Twitter, after the news was announced.

“We can’t take a break,” one comment read.

“Wow, that’s horrible, man,” said a second.

“This is a huge blow to the Knicks,” wrote another.

While a fourth added: “Oh my God, I’ve never seen a team suffer so many injuries.”

Before Tuesday’s 112-106 Game 5 loss, Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau alluded to long-standing injury issues when discussing Bogdanovic.

“Obviously you hate to see someone get hurt, but it’s been our reality all season,” he said.

“Julius [Randle] being out, Mitchell [Robinson] being out, OG [Anunoby] being outside, Isaiah [Hartenstein] being out, you know the next guys are going to have to get in there and get the job done.”

For Bogdanovic, this ends a turbulent season.

After starting 27 games for the Detroit Pistons, he was traded to the Knicks in February along with Alec Burks.

In return, the Pistons received Ryan Arcidiacono, Malachi Flynn, Evan Fournier and Quentin Grimes.

They also received two second-round picks.

Bogdanovic made 29 appearances, all off the bench, for New York during the regular season.
