NFL superstar Patrick Mahomes was left speechless by the Philadelphia 76ers’ NBA playoff heroics.
The Sixers stunned the New York Knicks 112-106 after overtime at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday night.
76ers guard Tyrese Maxey scored 46 points and Philly brought the dramatic first-round series back to 3-2 in favor of the Knicks.
Maxey hit an impressive three-point attempt from the midcourt logo to force OT in front of a packed celebrity crowd.
That followed an earlier shot from downtown that erased the Knicks’ six-point lead in the final 30 seconds.
“Crazy!!!!” three-time Super Bowl champion Mahomes wrote on the X.
Mahomes, no stranger to overtime drama, was already impressed by Jamal Murray’s buzzer-beater on Monday.
NBA icon LeBron James also took to social media after Maxey denied the Knicks what appeared to be a certain series victory.
“TYRESE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BANG,” wrote a stunned LeBron after the half-court shot connected.
“I think the best part is that Maxey doesn’t celebrate anything until the buzz. He makes the shot and moves on to the next one,” one fan wrote in response to the filming.
“You literally never, ever see this kind of emotion from Tyrese Maxey,” gasped another as the guard was seen swinging his arms following the dramatic bucket.
“What was on my mind was trying to survive,” Maxey told reporters after the game, via ESPN.
“Our season is on the line. I trust my work.
“I trust what I’ve done my whole life and I just tried to get to a point and get up and knock down that shot.”
Jalen Brunson dropped 40 points for the Knicks and scored all 9 of his points in overtime.
“Just a tough way to lose a game,” Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau said.
“We had an advantage. We have to play harder with the leadership.

“We fouled in a situation we didn’t want to, and then Maxey made a great play. So we have to do better.”
Before the game, the Knicks were hit with a disappointing injury to forward Bojan Bogdanovic.
The 31-year-old will undergo season-ending surgery to repair foot and wrist injuries, for Atlético.
Game 6 of the series will see the teams return to the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia on Thursday night.
The Sixers will have a chance to move up from 3-3 and force a decision at the Garden this weekend.
