ESPN’s Kendrick Perkins was disgusted by what he saw from an NBA playoff contender.

The Philadelphia 76ers lost in the first round of the playoffs to the New York Knicks 4-2, and Perkins hated what he saw from Tobias Harris.

Perkins dropped a hilariously cruel analogy about Harris on First Take after watching the Sixers game.

“Tobias Harris, let him walk. I mean, damn,” Perkins said.

“He asked if they wanted anything from Chick-fil-A before the game.

“The staff said yes and he came back with a bag full of napkins and straws.

“I mean he just didn’t show up there.”

Harris participated fully in the opening round of the playoffs, averaging 36.3 minutes per game.

In those minutes, he averaged 9.0 points, 7.2 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game.

However, in the final game of the series, Harris produced a complete failure that contributed to the Sixers’ loss in the series.

Harris played 29 minutes and didn’t score any points, grabbing four rebounds and dishing out three assists.

Fans were perplexed by Perkins’ harsh analysis of Harris’ performance, but they couldn’t say he wasn’t right.

“Most disrespectful thing I’ve heard in a while but damn he’s not wrong haha. If you’re making over 30 million and you drop a fat goose egg, you deserve to be roasted,” said one fan.

“Holy shit what a WILD KP analogy,” said another fan.

“One of the first statements I actually agree with Perkins on,” said a third fan.

“38 million for nothing,” said a fourth fan.

The biggest knock against Harris was his performance compared to his salary.

Harris is playing on a five-year contract worth $180 million, and his cap hit for this season was $39 million.

By comparison, Tyrese Maxey is making $4.3 million this year and has averaged 29.8 points, 5.2 rebounds and 6.8 points per game in the playoffs for the Sixers.

Harris is a free agent this offseason and it seems more than likely that he will not return to the Sixers.
