Morris spent four years in the NBA, from 2011 to 2015, with the Lakers, 76ers, Brooklyn Nets, LA Clippers and Memphis Grizzlies.
Tributes have poured in for the former guard since his death was announced on Saturday by NBA reporter Shams Charania.
“The Michigan basketball community mourns the passing of Darius Morris,” official report from the Michigan men’s basketball team shared on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“RIP LAKER LEGEND!” A fan he wrote with the other added“Rest in peace bro, I remember him so well.”
Morris’ cause of death has not been revealed, but TMZ reported that her body was found Thursday in Los Angeles.
