NEW York Knicks star Josh Hart took time out of an NBA playoff game to insult Reggie Miller.
Former Indiana point guard Miller, 58, was in the TNT broadcast booth for the Pacers Game 2 matchup with New York at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday.
With just seconds left in the contest, the Knicks led a hard-fought game 128-118.
New York guard Donte DiVincenzo was sent to the line with decibel levels near the limit in a noisy backyard.
The crowd was in party mode and decided to taunt Miller, a five-time All-Star, as he closed out the game on the court.
During his playing days, Miller received the nickname ‘Knick Killer’ for his play against the organization.
He was an MSG villain and participated in six postseason meetings with the Knicks between 1993-2000.
As DiVincenzo prepared to shoot, Hart ran up to the former Pacer in the TNT booth.
He leaned into Miller’s microphone and confirmed what the crowd was chanting.
“I think they said ‘fuck,’” he laughed, the expletive captured on the live stream.
“Gotta give credit where it’s due, Josh Hart is a Hall of Famer for that,” laughed one X fan in response to the video footage.
“Oh yeah, he’s definitely getting fined for this,” laughed another.
“I mean you have to make Hart captain at this point,” said a third.
“The life conveyed by Reggie Miller simply flashed before his eyes,” commented a fourth.
The Knicks secured a 130-121 win on Wednesday night, taking a 2-0 lead in the semifinal series.
But Pacers coach Rick Carlisle was furious with the referees over several controversial calls.
Carlisle was ejected in the fourth quarter after storming the court to protest the referees.
He stated in the postgame press conference that the Pacers would compile tape to send to the NBA.

“We’ve always watched the film in games where it looked like the whistles weren’t balanced, and we pulled the clips, and there’s a way to send them to the NBA office,” Carlisle explained.
“In the playoffs, when you send things, the other team sees what you send. And so, there were 29 plays in Game 1 that we thought were clearly called wrong.
“I decided not to finish them because I felt we would have a more balanced whistle tonight.
“It didn’t feel like that. I’m always talking to our guys about not talking about the refs, but we deserve a fair chance.”
The series now heads to Indiana and Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Friday night for Game 3.
