While it’s still not a guarantee that Bronny will make the NBA, as he also remains in the NCAA transfer portal, his performance at the Combine may have helped elevate him on some teams’ boards.

Measuring 6-foot-1 and 210 pounds, Bronny’s 40.5-inch vertical was fourth-best in the event, while his 19-of-25 three-pointer was second-best, as per ESPN.

Bronny’s first game, however, didn’t go as planned, scoring just four points and four rebounds, according to Bleacher report.

Fortunately for the 19-year-old, he had 13 points in 23 minutes in the second game.

Overall, Bronny’s display appears to have had the desired effect, if Garnett’s response is anything to go by.

“He looks really good,” he said in KG Certificate.

“He seems balanced. It seems like he wasn’t shaken by everything that was going on around him. [him].

“He seemed to be used to the moment. He had a good session, where he kicked well.

“And if I were a team, I would really take that chance.

“Because greatness runs through the brother’s veins. And you have to know that at some point he will have a growth spurt and it will work out.”

Garnett stated that he believes Bronny has “great build and great makeup to build on.”

He cited NBA legend Kobe Bryant as an example of a player who entered the league raw but with a solid foundation to work from — though he made sure to clarify that he wasn’t calling Bronny “young Kobe.”

Bronny was also praised after the Combine by Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green.

“I think he has more than enough attributes, tools and things that will make him a good backup point guard at least,” he said on Twitter. your podcast.

Like Garnett, Green also thought Bronny had the tools to be successful, but would need time to develop.

Bronny is coming off a tumultuous freshman season at USC after a trophy-laden high school career.

While with the Trojans, he started just 6 of his 25 games, averaging 4.8 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists.

Time for LeBron to retire?

“At the end of the day, I hate to say it, but I believe it in my soul right now: I wish LeBron James would retire.

“Not because I don’t want to see more LeBron James, not because I don’t appreciate LeBron James.

“But I honestly believe that deep down, the longer LeBron James continues to play basketball, the more it will hurt his legacy and the more it will continue to hurt his GOAT argument.

“As long as he steps on that floor, every season, there will be expectations that he will win a championship.

“And when he doesn’t, we’ll be looking at him and saying, ‘Well, what happened now?’”
