NBA legend Reggie Miller didn’t hold the Knicks back after his Pacers won the playoff series.
The Knicks and Pacers meet in a seventh-game showdown for the trip to the Eastern Conference finals.
The Knicks and Pacers have an ugly history, and Reggie Miller was in the middle of it.
That story caused the NBA to bring Miller on TV to call one of the Knicks’ opening games against the Pacers.
The Knicks won the game and Miller faced a chorus of boos from the crowd, but his Pacers managed to recover.
After losing 2-0 to the Knicks, the Pacers won the series 4-3 and move on to the Eastern Conference finals.
Miller was happy to celebrate at the expense of Knicks fans and shared some brutal trolling on social media.
He shared a video of Knicks player Josh Hart criticizing him early in the playoffs, saying it was the moment everything changed.
“When the series CHANGED!!” Miller wrote.
“Jalen Brunson, you are a true BALLER, you were the best player in these playoffs.
“You and your boys can heal together on some beautiful beaches in Cancun, please enjoy!!”
NBA fans were amused by Miller’s trolling and shared their laughter in his comments.
“The Knick Killer strikes again,” said one fan.
“Reggie is the goat!! The Knicks will never learn!!” another fan said.
“Not Reggie trollin,” said a third fan.
“My man Reggie, warning the Knicks, baby!” a fourth fan said.
The Pacers advance to the ECF with their victory over the Knicks to face the No. 1 seed Boston Celtics.
The Celtics beat the Miami Heat in the first round in five games, and defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers in the second round in five games.
