DURING the crucial Game 7 showdown between the Nuggets and Timberwolves, Shaquille O’Neal was absent from the Inside the NBA set.
Shaq’s absence came without warning as he was replaced by another NBA legend.
Shaq was mysteriously not on TV screens on Sunday’s edition of Inside the NBA for the Nuggets-Timberwolves matchup.
Instead, NBA legend Vince Carter took his place at the table alongside Kenny Smith, Ernie Johnson and Charles Barkley.
Shaq gave no reason for his disappearance and simply did not appear on the show.
Carter serves as a part-time analyst for Brooklyn Nets games after serving as an analyst for ESPN.
He has made several NBA appearances on TNT this year, filling in for players like Shaq and Barkley.
Although Carter spent some time on set, fans still questioned why Shaq was unavailable.
“Shaq taking all this time off man,” said one fan.
“Hey, did you guys notice Shaq isn’t on Inside the NBA tonight, what’s up,” said another fan.
“Where’s Shaq?” a third fan said.
“Why is Shaq missing again?”. a fourth fan said.
There’s no word on whether Shaq will be back on Inside the NBA for the conference finals.
