ALEX Rodriguez may have been the hottest man at Ball Arena in the Minnesota Timberwolves’ victory over the Denver Nuggets.

The 48-year-old minority owner was on the court in the series-clinching 98-90 victory that kicked off the showdown with the Dallas Mavericks.

TNT Sports cameras cut to the baseball legend and his celebrations.

“Come on, damn it,” he appeared to say.

Rodriguez was later seen sporting a personalized handshake with Timberwolves standout Anthony Edwards.

The star had just four points in the first half, but finished with 16 in the comeback victory over the defending NBA champions.

“There are more ways to win the game of basketball when you are not an offensive player,” he said.

“I’m not one-dimensional. I’m not just a guy who can score. I’m a guy who – whoever’s the best guard, I can arrest him.

“I feel like I did that to Jamal [Murray] in the fourth quarter – the third and fourth quarter – and that’s what turned the game around.”

Minnesota trailed by 20 points in the second half, but will now take its place alongside Dallas in the Western Conference finals.

“My matchup will be Kyrie, so it will be fun,” Edwards, 22, added. “Let’s see what I can do against him.”

During the pivotal matchup, Shaquille O’Neal was absent from the Inside the NBA set.

NBA legend Vince Carter took his place at the table alongside Kenny Smith, Ernie Johnson and Charles Barkley.

Shaq did not give a reason for his disappearance.

And fans were questioning why he wasn’t available.

“Shaq taking all this time off, man,” one said.

“Hey did you guys notice Shaq isn’t on Inside the NBA tonight what’s up with that,” added another.
