MINNESOTA Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards’ postgame comments have gone viral again.

The former No. 1 overall pick offered a hilarious and scathing response to Charles Barkley, 61, claiming he hasn’t been to Minnesota, Minneapolis, in two decades on Sunday’s Inside the NBA.

The Timberwolves stunned the Denver Nuggets in Game 7 of the second round of their NBA playoff series.

They overcame a 20-point deficit to earn a 98-90 victory and set up a Western Conference Finals showdown with the Dallas Mavericks.

That means the Inside the NBA team will travel to Minnesota this week with TNT Sports presenting the series exclusively.

And Barkley wanted to ask Edwards, 22, for advice about the local food scene before the trip.

“I haven’t been to Minnesota in probably 20 years,” Chuck said during the post-Game 7 interview with the 6-foot-1 guard.

But the TNT analyst couldn’t finish the question.

“Bring you **!” Edwards interrupted, making Barkley’s colleagues laugh.

The Timberwolves star then promised to help the NBA icon by creating a list of restaurants worth visiting.

“I’ll find your number through someone,” Edwards said.

“I’ll send them to you.”

I’ll be on LinkedIn,’ says Charles Barkley as Inside the NBA star jokes about show’s future on live TV

Barkley’s memory failed him during the interview, however.

The Phoenix Suns legend has been in Minnesota for the past few years, covering the Final Four of the 2019 NCAA Tournament – which took place at the city’s US Bank Stadium.

Earlier in the series, Edwards made NBA Twitter laugh when he confirmed that he told the Nuggets’ arena staff that he would see them again right before the Wolves actually forced a Game 7.

The trade reportedly came after Minnesota fell behind 3-2 with a 112-97 loss in Game 5.

Inside the future of the NBA?

The operation of the NBA on TNT Sports is in doubt due to the NBA’s broadcast agreements.

The Emmy-winning sports show is a fan favorite thanks to the likes of Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley.

But TNT’s broadcast deal with the NBA ends after next season and NBC is preparing a bid to take over those rights.

If TNT loses its NBA package, it will raise questions about the popular Inside the NBA.

One solution could be to recreate the show on another network, which would snatch the rights from the NBA.

“That’s right!” Edwards told reporters that he led his team to a 45-point victory that tied the series two days later.

“They know. You were there.

“I told them, ‘See you motherfuckers in Game 7.’”

Edwards recorded 16 points, eight rebounds, seven assists and two steals in Game 7 against the defending NBA champions.

The Timberwolves reached the conference finals for the first time in 20 years.

The series with the Mavericks will begin at 8:30 pm ET on Wednesday.
