Duncan, 48, appeared in the first episode of The Richard and Larry Showhosted by Richard Jefferson, earlier this week.

During the interview, Jefferson, 43, asked his former Spurs teammate to pick who to start, bench and choose from other San Antonio legends: Manu Ginobili, David Robinson and Tony Parker.

The former No. 1 overall NBA draft pick decided to start Robinson, bench Ginobili and cut Parker — all of whom also played with the retired 6-foot-1 forward.

“Can I do this again?” Duncan asked.

But Jefferson moved on to the next round, with Jordan, James and Bryant.

The five-time NBA champion looked perplexed.

“No, I refuse to answer that question,” he replied.

However, Jefferson told his guest that he “could not defend the fifth.”

And then Duncan came up with an alternative solution.

“I’ll start all three…” he said.

“And I cut myself and benched myself.”

Jefferson loved Duncan’s sneaky response.

“That’s the correct answer,” the former NBA forward turned ESPN analyst said, with both men laughing.

Duncan refused to engage in the NBA GOAT conversation with Jordan, remaining a cultural reference point.

Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce recently mentioned MJ’s name while discussing his career goals, revealing that he wants to win three more championship rings.

“Three more? Give me as many rings as Jordan has, honey,” the three-time Super Bowl champion said.

“That feeling in the end zone is the best feeling, lifting that trophy at the end, that’s Mecca right there.”

“Vince Lombardi [the Super Bowl trophy] at the end of the year with my teammates, my coaches and the fan base in Kansas City, that’s what I’m thinking about.

“Three more, here we go.”

Jordan won six NBA titles, completing two trebles with the Chicago Bulls between 1991-1993 and 1996-1998.
