The Chicago Sky’s eighth overall pick Reese helped his team win two of the final three games of the season, scoring 35 points in those contests.

However, Clark, the top 2024 pick, has yet to win a game in his first five games with the Indiana Fever.

On Thursday night, the SkyThe New York Liberty’s latest win over the New York Liberty caused Reese to attack Clark in a now-deleted post on X, formerly known as Twitter.

“And that’s getting a win in a crowded field, not just because of one player on our charter flight. #SKYTOWN,” she wrote while adding a kissing emoji at the end.

Clark helped the WNBA soar in the ratings.

During her college tenure with the Iowa Hawkeyes, she was a major college rival to LSU Tigers product Reese.

For the first time, the WNBA introduced private charter flights for teams this season.

Many personalities, including LeBron James and NBA legend Charles Barkley, believe Clark should be thanked for the spotlight she brought to the league.

But on Thursday, Reese suggested that Clark is solely responsible for the growing popularity of women’s basketball and the WNBA.

‘It’s not just one person, I don’t think people realize that [because] the narrative out there is that just one person changes the game,” Reese said.

“We are many.

“There are so many great players and it was needed for a long time and just being able to see that our impact was able to change the game.”

“I love it for all of us, and we’re going to keep moving forward.”

In 2023, Reese and the Tigers defeated Clark’s Hawkeyes in 2023 NCAA title game.

During the game, Reese waved his hand in front of Clark’s face.

The sequence also saw Reese point his ring finger while looking at Clark just minutes before gaining a real championship ring.

In ESPN’s recently released Full Court Press four-part TV series, Clark revealed her disagreements with coverage of herself and Reese’s on-court rivalry rather than Iowa’s path to the title game.

“That’s the only thing people wanted to talk about when we started this magical run and brought so many people together, and that was frustrating for me,” she admitted.

Clark will look for his first win when the Fever play the Los Angeles Spark on Friday night.
