On Friday, Atlético’s Shams Charania appeared on ESPN’s The Pat McAfee Show to talk about various NBA topics.

The NBA insider gave the scoop on LeBron’s son Bronny, who will enter the 2024 NBA Draft in June after one season at USC.

Charania reported that Bronny “wants to have a long NBA career” and added that “he has over ten NBA invites to work out.”

He also revealed that the 19-year-old will coach for the Phoenix Suns and Lakers.

Bronny suffered cardiac arrest last July before returning to play guard for the Trojans his freshman season.

He has been fully cleared to play by the NBA’s Fitness to Play Panel.

A lot of attention will be paid to the Lakers because of the father-son bond with LeBron.

While LeBron has previously said he wants to play with his son, the four-time NBA champion recently changed his stance to allow Bronny to choose his own path.

“I haven’t thought about it much lately, obviously I’ve thought about it in the past,” LeBron said. told reporters at his end-of-season press conference when asked about the possibility of playing alongside Bronny.

“At the end of the day, the kid has to do what he wants.

The Lakers have the No. 17 and No. 56 draft picks, while the Suns only have the No. 22 pick in the upcoming NBA Draft.

During the combine in Chicago, Bronny revealed that his goal was to make it to the pros first Basketball turns on.

“My dream has always been to get my name out there, make a name for myself and, of course, make it to the NBA,” he said.

“But I honestly believe that deep down, the longer LeBron James continues to play basketball, the more it will hurt his legacy and the more it will continue to hurt his GOAT argument.

“As long as he steps on that floor, every season, there will be expectations that he will win a championship.

“And when he doesn’t, we’ll be looking at him and saying, ‘Well, what happened now?’”

Bronny has appeared in USC’s last 25 games, starting six and averaging 4.8 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 19.4 minutes of play.
