DALLAS Mavericks star Luka Doncic had a few words to say to Minnesota Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert after taking him down with a game-winning jumper on Friday night.
The Mavericks secured a 109-108 victory in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals to take a 2-0 lead in the NBA playoff series.

Doncic, 25, and Gobert, 31, faced off in what would be the decisive play of the night.
With the Timberwolves holding a 108-106 lead and with about 13 seconds remaining in the matchup, the Mavs star star faced the four-time Defensive Player of the Year.
And he made the Frenchman dance with his handles, causing the 2.10 meter center to lose his balance.
Doncic then buried a hardly uncontested 3-pointer that would settle the score.
He celebrated with an outburst full of expletives, caught by TNT cameras.
“Son of a bitch!” the 6-foot-2 guard could be seen yelling at Gobert.
“You can’t protect me!”
And NBA fans loved Doncic’s passion.
“This is so cold bro,” one posted on X.
“Luka is an all-time trash talker, all-time player,” wrote another.
“LUKA is so clingy that Rudy didn’t have a chance,” said a third.
“Naming my first child Luka,” wrote one.
Doncic continued his trash talk until the game officially ended.
