BRONNY James’ agent Rich Paul has told NBA teams that his client will not sign a two-year contract.

Many second-round NBA draft picks choose two-way deals, allowing them to play in both the Association and the G League.

However, there are restrictions placed on two-way players.

They can be active in up to 50 NBA games during the regular season alone.

Additionally, they are not allowed to play in the postseason unless they are offered a regular NBA contract in advance.

And Paul, 42, who also represents LeBron James, said Bronny, 19, would not sign a two-year contract after the 2024 draft.

“Yes, that is absolutely true,” Klutch Sports boss told NBA source Chris Haynes.

“Teams know that. I’m not going to do that.”

Paul added that he is not concerned about Bronny’s preliminary projections.

Most mock drafts have the former University of Southern California guard listed as a late second-round pick at best.

“Bronny’s reach is gone,” Paul said.

“Some teams think he goes 20-40, some teams say 30-50, and some teams think he won’t be drafted.

“It only takes one team. This is something I do every year during the draft process.

“This is not Bronny-centric. He’s part of our draft class.

“I have to try to help find the right fit for all my employees, as well as the right business. So that’s how I look at it.”

Reports state that Bronny could hold at least 10 pre-draft workouts with NBA teams.

The 6-foot-9 guard is said to have received invites from the Phoenix Suns and Los Angeles Lakers.

The Lakers are the favorites to draft Bronny at No. 55 overall in an effort to re-sign LeBron, 39, who has been open about his desire to play with his son in the NBA.

Paul said he didn’t mind the four-time NBA champion talking publicly about teaming up with Bronny.

“If he wants to play with his son, that’s it,” said the super agent.

“But then again, I have a job to do representing Bronny and LeBron.

“LeBron’s season is over. I’m focused on Bronny and the rest of our draft class.

“If it’s lined up where he can play with his dad, great. Am I necessarily focused on that?

“I’m focused on investing in the team plan and being serious about fit and opportunity.”
