MLB icon Alex Rodriguez couldn’t hide his shock when he was surprised by his daughter Natasha on Sunday night.
The 14-time All-Star was on the court for the Minnesota Timberwolves’ NBA Conference Finals matchup against the Dallas Mavericks.
Rodriguez was primed and kicked when the potential T-Wolves owner took his place at the American Airlines Center.
The former New York Yankees shortstop was distracted by his 16-year-old daughter Ella before the report.
In a viral video, she was seen directing Rodriguez’s attention to the scoreboard.
As a confused Rodriguez tried to see what she was pointing at, his oldest daughter emerged from the seats behind him.
The MLB icon looked surprised as he was left open-mouthed before hugging Natasha into a bear bug, with the 19-year-old performing a little victory dance.
“I couldn’t believe it! Ella and @thenatasharodriguez you two got me so good,” Rodriguez captioned the clip on Instagram.
“I’m not sure what the surprise was but I can see the love in your eyes for your daughters and I have the same for my daughter,” one fan wrote in response.
“I’m a new dad and I’m so crazy about my son… I really felt that,” said another.
“What an exciting surprise! Great job by your girls! Happy Memorial Day, Alex!” commented a third.
“That’s what true love is all about!” she added a room.
Rodriguez shares Natasha and Ella with his ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis.
Natasha currently attends the University of Michigan and joined the school’s musical theater program for PEOPLE.
“I left my heart in Michigan,” Rodriguez wrote last fall.
“Leaving @thenatasharodriguez off to college was one of the hardest but proudest moments of being a father.”
Rodriguez is considering purchasing the T-Wolves alongside business partner Marc Lore.

TV cameras captured their ecstatic reaction following the recent series-clinching victory over the Denver Nuggets.
“Come on, damn it!” the MLB legend roared on the court following last week’s 98-90 victory.
Unfortunately for Rodriguez and the T-Wolves, Sunday’s game ended in disappointment with a 116-107 loss.
The loss gives the Mavericks a 3-0 series lead and they are now just one win away from the NBA Finals.
Mavericks star Luka Doncic was again at the top of his game, as the Slovenian recorded 33 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists.
“We need one more. Nothing has been done yet,” Doncic told reporters.
“They have an incredible team. If we get one more, we’ll rest.”
