Clark finished with 11 points, eight rebounds and six assists in a packed Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

In doing so, she joined two-time All-Star Sabrina Ionescu as the only player in league history to have recorded 150 points, 50 rebounds and 50 assists in her first 10 games, according to the WNBA.

However, not everything was smooth sailing on Saturday.

Images of Clark being caught by surprise by Sky Center Chennedy Carter and pushed onto the court went viral on social media, sparking fury from fans, celebrities and many athletes.

One of those celebrities who supported Clark, who many fans believe has been “targeted” by WNBA players since being drafted, was the wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes of Brittany.

“@caitlinclark22 keep doing what you want!!” she captioned a post on her Instagram Stories showing her and Ionescu’s records.

“You’re a player and it’s amazing to see what you’re doing for women’s sports!!”

Brittany also has her own sports background.

After a successful college soccer career at the University of Texas at Tyler, she spent a season in Iceland playing for UMF Afturelding.

Brittany and Patrick are now co-owners of the NWSL team, Kansas City Current.

‘I want to be like Coco Gauff,’ says Cameron Brink as she reveals the inspiration behind her latest WNBA arrival outfit

In March, the Mahomes were on hand when the Current opened CPKC Stadium — the first stadium built specifically for a professional women’s sports franchise.

Another famous face who weighed in on Clark’s situation was Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green.

“Indiana better invest in an enforcer… Quick!” Green wrote on Instagram.

On Sunday, the WNBA retroactively upgraded Carter’s foul to flagrant.

No further action was taken.

Sky teammate and rookie rookie Angel Reese was fined $1,000 for failing to speak to the media after the game.

The team was also “fined $5,000 for failing to ensure all players comply with WNBA media policies.”

Indiana returned to action on Sunday night, falling brutally to the New York Liberty 104-68.

This marked Indiana’s 11th game in the last 20 days, and this latest appearance had an unfortunate impact on the Fever.

Both Clark and Aliyah Boston had to leave the game with injuries – the former with an ear problem and the latter with an ankle.

In 29 minutes, Clark had just three points, five assists and two rebounds.

Indiana’s Kelsey Mitchell led the way with 21 points.

They will now have until Friday to rest as they prepare to face the Washington Mystics.
