Brady spent nearly two decades in Massachusetts playing for the New England Patriots.

He won six of his rings at Gillette Stadium before winning another in Tampa Bay with the Buccaneers.

The Celtics released the promotional video on the eve of Game 1 at TD Garden against the Mavericks.

It has been 16 years since Boston last won an NBA title, despite appearing in the last 11 postseasons.

The viral video begins with fans of NBA teams across the country saying they “want Boston” because of its ability to choke out the playoffs.

“Really? You want Boston? Believe me, it’s a bad idea,” Brady says on narration.

The Celtics defeated the Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference Finals.

They defeated the Miami Heat and Cleveland Cavaliers in the previous rounds and are 12-2 in the postseason.

“O [Heat] culture? History. Cleveland? Made for. And Indy? It’s over,” Brady continued, with a montage of Celtics highlights dominating the hard-fought victories.

“But us? We’re still here. Right now, you’re going to want anyone but Boston.”

The video was titled Be Careful What You Wish For and quickly racked up over 1 million views on X.

“The Celtics media team is on a dynastic run,” one fan wrote in response.

“You need to pay this editing team upfront bonuses,” said another.

“Who hired the GOAT?!” gasped a third.

“I’ve watched this 10 times already,” added a fourth.

“People said that Tom and I fought a lot, and in some ways that was true.

“Tom, good luck buying the Raiders. They already did what you liked best: they got rid of Jimmy Garoppolo.”

“Everyone asks me which ring is my favorite. I used to say, ‘Next.’ But now that I’m retired, my favorite ring is the camera that caught Coach Belichick leaving that poor girl’s house at 6 a.m. a few months ago.”

“There were rumors that Coach Belichick would be here tonight. Turns out he has some time on his hands. Look, at least when I got fired, someone else wanted me.”

Earlier this week, Brady appeared in an uplifting video for Celtics fans and players.

“Being a champion is a desire to achieve,” Brady said in the clip.

“A lot of people want to be in that big moment, but they’re so afraid of what will happen if they don’t do it the way they want.”

Brady is currently preparing for a new career in sports broadcasting after retiring from the NFL last February.

He signed a $375 million contract with Fox Sports in 2022 and is expected to call his first game in September.

“Certainly with the network, I don’t think, for me, it’s about competition,” Brady recently told Colin Cowherd.

“I think for me, it’s about ‘Did I put everything I could into this? Did I give the fans everything they expected?’

“And that’s how I’ll end up evaluating myself.”
