James shared a sweet message for Burke on social media before his first NBA Finals game.

“Important moment for our sport tonight,” LeBron wrote on the X.

“I love you. It’s so good to work with you.”

While she continues to receive words of encouragement from around the league, Burke shared how important her role is to her.

She made an appearance on The Rich Eisen Show to talk about her NBA Finals opportunity.

‘Don’t believe everything you hear’, warns NBA star Chris Paul, while Pat McAfee comments on his job as Lakers coach

“I’ll be honest with you, it’s significant,” she said.

“There is no doubt that this feeling has not yet occurred to me. Obviously, what could be better for me if somehow this task helped women in some way?

“There couldn’t be anything more significant.”

Burke has been a full-time NBA analyst for seven years after being ESPN’s lead sideline reporter.

She previously called the 2020 NBA Finals on ESPN Radio, the first woman to do so.
