In 2016, the couple celebrated five years. Horford shared the celebration with her followers on Instagram.

She is the first contestant from the Dominican Republic to take home the crown and the only winner from the Caribbean country so far.
At just 18 years old, Vega was also the youngest winner since 1994. The towering model stands 6’2”, making her the tallest Miss Universe.
The runner-up was Miss Venezuela, Mariangel Ruiz, and in third place was Miss South Africa, Cindy Nell.
