In a recent interview, Schauffele spoke about his experience playing a game against NBA legend and six-time champion Jordan, via CBS.

Knost noted how tough Jordan is, something Schauffele is clearly aware of.

“I did my best version. And then he hit me, which is embarrassing,” he admitted.

“The last three holes… I hit him on his putting holes and started talking shit to him and he was quiet and focused and then he birdied like 15, 16, no putts, hit me straight. “

Knost joked: “Strange that he showed up when he needed to.”

The former PGA Tour member then added how well Jordan putsts, to which Schauffele also noted how impressive his chips are.

This interview spread quickly on X, formerly known as Twitter, where fans were not surprised to learn of Jordan’s sporting prowess.

“No one on the planet is smarter when it matters. Nobody,” said one fan.

“Even in golf, why would you talk bad about Jordan?” she asked for a second.

“Jordan’s competitiveness on a totally different level,” commented another.

While a fourth joked, “New MJ side mission unlocked.”

Jordan owns an exclusive golf club in Florida named The Grove XXIII, as per CNN.

The glamorous golf retreat can only be accessed if you are personally invited.

It is situated on a 200+ acre former citrus grove near Hobe Sound, north of West Palm Beach.

It features an elegant curved clubhouse overlooking the course and includes a bar, terrace, pro shop, dining area and changing rooms.

Underneath the clubhouse there is space to park golf carts.

There is also a 20-acre practice facility, which has two 400-yard running tracks and a putting green.

The site also has six lakes to represent Jordan’s title wins.

“He’ll enjoy it while he’s playing and then it will be passed on to the next generation,” said Bobby Weed, who designed the course.

“It’s just one of the great things about golf and the reason it has sustained itself over the centuries.”
