The NBA Draft is less than two weeks away and one potential prospect can play where he grew up.
In CBS’ latest NBA mock draft, they projected back-to-back National Player of the Year Zach Edey going No. 19 to the Toronto Raptors.

If the mock draft is correct, Edey would be playing in the NBA for his hometown team.
Edey was born on May 14, 2002, in Toronto, Ontario, and played college basketball for the Purdue Boilermakers.
The 7-foot center led the Boilermakers to the National Championship, but the team ultimately lost to the UCONN Huskies.
Edey averaged 25.2 points, 12.2 rebounds and 2 assists per game during his Purdue career.
Once drafted into the NBA, Edey will become one of the tallest players in the league at 7 feet tall.
Although Edey is projected to be a top-25 pick, he has yet to receive an invite to the green room on draft night.
In addition to the possibility of Edey returning home for his NBA career, there has been a change in the top two picks.
Previously projected number one pick, Alex Sarr, is now expected to be selected second overall by the Washington Wizards in CBS’ latest mock draft.
The 7’1″ center hails from Toulouse, France and played overseas for the Perth Wildcats of the Australian National Basketball League.
Last season, Carr started 24 games and played about 17 minutes per game.
The future NBA star scored a total of 232 points and shot 52% from the field.
The latest mock draft describes Sarr as a “7-foot center who has immense defensive potential with room to develop into a switch-everything anchor on that end.”
The Washington Wizards could use a player like Sarr after finishing with a dismal 15-67 record last season.
Meanwhile, Zaccharie Risacher is expected to be selected as the No. 1 overall pick by the Atlanta Hawks.
The latest mock draft describes Risacher as the “most attractive of the options at this stage,” along with his 6-foot-2 frame, developing shot and strong finish to the season.

The 19-year-old forward averaged 10.4 points and 3.4 rebounds in 23 minutes per game with his French team JL Bourg this season.
If Risacher is selected number one overall, he will follow in the footsteps of his compatriot Victor Wembanyama.
Wembanyama was selected by the San Antonio Spurs in last year’s NBA Draft.
The Atlanta Hawks could use Risacher’s help, as the team finished 10th in the Eastern Conference with a 36-46 record.
Risacher would join stars Trae Young and Dejounte Murray creating a dangerous trio.
