DENVER Nuggets star Nikola Jokic has shown once again that his favorite season of the year is the NBA offseason.

The three-time MVP is enjoying an early break from the court after his Nuggets fell out of the 2024 playoffs in the second round.

Denver lost the Eastern Conference semifinals to the Minnesota Timberwolves in seven games.

The loss meant Jokic’s offseason began in the second half of May.

And the 6-foot-10 center is apparently making the most of his time off.

A video emerged on social media earlier this week showing the Serbian showing off his dance moves at a party.

NBA fans loved seeing Jokic, 29, trying to relax after a tough season.

“The bro doesn’t even remember he’s an NBA player in the off-season,” alongside a laughing emoji.

“Basketball is a sideline for this guy,” also adding a laughing emoji.

“Can you imagine if Jokic liked basketball 1/4 as much as he likes the offseason,” joked a third

“It should be illegal to be so tall and so smooth,” one wrote.

Jokic couldn’t wait for the offseason to start, even after the Nuggets won the championship last season.

Luka Doncic tells Malika Andrews he disappointed Mavericks in tough NBA Finals loss and reveals his postgame message to the team

After the Game 5 victory against the Miami Heat sealed Denver’s title win, the six-time All-Star was informed he would have to stay in the U.S. until the team’s championship parade later in the week.

“No,” Jokic said with noticeable disappointment in his voice.

“I need to go home.”

During the same press conference, Jokic was hilariously impressed with the amount of congratulatory messages he received.

(Boston beats Dallas 3-0)

Jokic averaged 26.4 points, 12.4 rebounds, 9.0 assists and 1.4 steals during the 2023-24 regular season.

Meanwhile, the 2024 NBA Finals are proving to be a one-sided spectacle.

The Boston Celtics lead the series 3-0 after a 106-99 victory over the Dallas Mavericks in Game 3 on Wednesday.

Mavs star Luka Doncic was heavily criticized for his disappointing performance in Game 3 after fouling out with four minutes left in the contest.

Doncic took responsibility for his mistakes in the crucial encounter, saying he let his teammates down.

“It was tough, probably not the smartest thing,” he said of missing out in the postseason for the first time in his career.
