“Reggie, you started singing,” Brunson responded.

“He said the boogeyman is coming back to New York,” the Knicks star added.

“He said, I own this place.”

Miller didn’t mince words when he appeared on Jackson’s podcast, as he had some choice words for Knicks fans.

“I can’t stand the Knicks because, to me, they’re the favorite,” Miller said.

“They think they are God’s gift to basketball.”

The 58-year-old was alluding to the chorus of boos and NSFW chants he received from Knicks fans during the Eastern Conference semifinals.

Miller said “gasoline was poured” on the fire when Knicks guard Josh Hart came up to him to tell him about f**k you Reggie sings.

The Knicks had control of the series leading 3-2 after the moment between Hart and Miller and lost the next two games to lose the series.

When the Indiana Pacers completed their series victory, Miller took to social media to mock the Knicks.

The former Pacer shared a video of Hart criticizing him early in the playoffs, saying it was the moment everything changed.

“When the series CHANGED!!” Miller wrote.

Brunson told Rooks he didn’t believe this was the turning point of the series, but called Hart an “idiot” for going to Reggie.

The Knicks star also said during the interview that he advised Hart not to say anything.

Miller continued to take jabs on social media, writing: “Jalen Brunson you are a true BALLER, you were the best player in these playoffs.

“You and your boys can heal together on some beautiful beaches in Cancun, please enjoy!!”

Because of Miller’s history with the Knicks franchise, this led to the NBA bringing in the former Pacer to call some of the games.

Miller is famous for scoring 9 points in 8 seconds against the Knicks to win the playoffs.

He is also known for making a choked gesture at Knicks fan Spike Lee during a playoff game between Indiana and New York.

The Pacers ended up falling to the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals.

The Celtics are now just one win away from their first NBA title in 16 years.

If the Celtics win the championship tonight, it will be the franchise’s 18th.
