STEPHEN A. Smith left fans nervous when he announced the cast of a hypothetical First Take film.

After naming Jamie Foxx, Denzel Washington and Ludacris to play himself, he turned to co-host Molly Qerim.

“When it comes to you, Molly, I thought about it and came up with two names, OK,” Smith said.

“One will be Tisha Campbell from Martin. First of all, she is a wonderful actress, without a doubt.

“But on the show they constantly teased her about the size of her head in several episodes, so that’s definitely something you guys have in common.”

“Is this the depth of playing my character the size of my head? Keep going,” added Qerim, 40.

“I love Tisha Campbell, I love you to death, girl, you always do great things,” Smith, 56, continued.

“One of Hollywood’s great actresses, I love her so much, but they made fun of her for her head and you definitely noticed the size of your mug, Molly.

“Then I thought of another one and said you know Leah Remini from King of Queens, she’s also a wonderful actress, you know.

“She’s got attitude and spunk, she’ll give you that attitude really, really quickly, which you do a lot behind the scenes, Molly.

“Not just on television but also behind the scenes and she has a big head and is very beautiful.

“They are both very beautiful and have big heads. I have a peanut head.”

‘Don’t do this,’ warned Stephen A. Smith by NBA legend Paul George after making Kawhi Leonard dig on live TV

Smith also attacked JJ Redick and LeBron James on his Mind The Game podcast.

The veteran sportscaster described the timing of the podcast’s launch as “egregious,” claiming they both knew then-Lakers coach Darvin Ham’s job was under pressure.

“JJ is a different situation because of the situation that LeBron James and his team created by doing that podcast in the middle of the season knowing that Darvin Ham was on the hot seat,” Smith he said.

“I don’t care what anyone says, that was a very egregious thing to do.

“I’m not talking about the podcast itself, I’m talking about the moment.

‘Who talks about the WNBA the most?’

Stephen A. Smith had a disagreement with Monica McNutt on First Take about women’s basketball this week.

Smith said she didn’t like how she had to “watch every syllable” when talking about the WNBA, but McNutt wasn’t happy with her statement.

“Welcome to the world of being a woman, Stephen A,” she said.

“How you have to dance about your choice of words and how you have to please everyone as you navigate your being.”

Stephen A. made a comment that really excited McNutt.

“Who talks more about the WNBA, who talks more about women’s sports than First Take?” Stephen A. said.

McNutt was clearly irritated by her question and set the record straight on live TV.

“Stephen A., respectfully, with your platform, you could have been doing this three years ago if you wanted,” McNutt said.

Molly Qerim and Shannon Sharpe looked stunned, and Qerim tried to take the show to a commercial break, but the awkward moment continued.

After Stephen A. muttered “wow,” McNutt assured him that he thought he could have done more.

“You’re my guy,” McNutt said.

“But I’m talking to you.”

“You’re my girl,” Smith replied.

“But you missed too many episodes of First Take.”

“If the Lakers get eliminated and LeBron James and JJ do their podcast in the summer, there will be no problem,” continued Stephen A.

“Darvin Ham was in a tough spot! And that’s when LeBron James, in the middle of the season, decided to do a podcast with a brilliant, cerebral basketball mind.

“They’re breaking down plays, talking about plays, talking about schemes, talking about strategies…

“LeBron James is his own man. You’re wearing a Lakers uniform, you’re a player, you know your coach is in the hot seat.

“And you decided to do a podcast about basketball, thinking about the details. How you train, how you draw, you play.

“This was all when you knew the Lakers would probably be looking for a coach next season.

“It’s one of the most egregious things we’ve seen a basketball player do to a coach.”
