Stephen A. Smith called ‘cringeworthy’ by live First Take viewers for strange comments about Molly Qerim’s acting in commercials

STEPHEN A. Smith left fans reeling after his latest analogy.

On Tuesday’s episode of First Take, Stephen A. tried to compare Luka Doncic to his co-hosts.

It wasn’t in a flattering way though, as he used his co-hosts as examples of how Doncic won’t do anything to address his flaws.

Stephen A. criticized Molly Qerim and Andraya Carter for certain behaviors during their rant.

“It’s almost the equivalent of asking [Andraya Carter] don’t kiss snakes,” said Stephen A.

“It’s almost the equivalent of asking [Molly Qerim] Do not eat during commercial breaks.

“You can ask Molly to do a lot of different things. Ask her to fast and not eat?

“She’ll eat between commercial breaks, that’s what she does.”

Stephen A. made reference to Carter’s pet snake, which she often kisses on camera, which scared Stephen A..

The comments about Qerim’s eating habits were most unnecessary and she shouted to defend herself.

“Grown woman. Proud of it. Not a little girl,” Qerim said.

Fans were disgusted by Stephen A.’s strange speech and shared their displeasure on social media.

“Don’t you think this is noteworthy?” one fan said.

“Dude, it’s not funny,” said another fan.

“Can we retire this clown? Asking for humanity,” said a third fan.

“It’s hilarious how funny he thinks he is and the jokes always hit haha,” said a fourth fan.

Tuesday’s episode wasn’t Stephen A’s best day, as he explained that he’s exhausted from the NBA Playoffs.

His routine isn’t over yet, as he still needs to cover the NBA Draft before he can take time off.

The NBA Draft takes place on Wednesday, June 26th and Thursday, June 27th.

The Atlanta Hawks will be selected first overall when the draft opens.
