BASKETBALL superstar Caitlin Clark suffered another tough miss in the WNBA.
The Indiana Fever rookie was cut on the arm by 6-foot-2 Washington Mystics center Stefanie Dolson while making a layup on Wednesday night.

But, inexplicably, the referees did not call a foul and allowed the game to continue.
Answering for a viral videomany fans took to social media to show their dismay and disgust at the non-connection.
“WNBA officiating is worse than Little League rec ball,” said one fan.
“Caitlin definitely got hacked by Dolson on this play, as a ref I’m not sure how you miss that,” said another fan.

“The WNBA has an officiating problem,” noted a third fan.
Clark overcame the incident to record 18 points, 12 rebounds and six assists in Indiana’s 88-81 victory.
But it was the last hard foul on Clark, who received a blow to the head from rival Angel Reese on Sunday.
Clark was driving to the basket when fellow rookie Reese, 22, tried to make a play.
The Chicago Sky star ended up hitting Clark in the forehead and causing her to fall to the ground.
Reese was cited for a flagrant foul on the play.
“It’s a basketball play,” Reese said.
“I’m always looking for the ball.
“Are you guys going to play this clip, what, 20 times before Monday?”
Clark was also flagged for a flagrant foul when the Fever played the Sky earlier this month.
It was checked by Chennedy Carter, which was considered a common foul at the time but later upgraded to flagrant 1 by the league office.
Clark said at the time, “Yeah, that’s not a basketball play.

“But you know, I have to play this, that’s what basketball at this level is all about.
“I thought we were very physical, we lost a couple of bunnies on the edge, so I hope they fall into the fourth.”
It was the Fever’s third consecutive victory after a disappointing start to the season.
“The confidence that we’ve been able to build over the last three games is, you know, continue to take a step forward and learn each game, and if we lose one, how are we going to respond?” Clark said.
“That has also been important for us. In the last game we lost, we found a way to respond and achieve three consecutive victories.
“I think we’ve improved a lot over the last three games and we’re continuing to build on that.”

CAITLIN Clark’s impact was felt throughout the WNBA before she was even drafted.
The college superstar from Iowa went No. 1 overall to the Indiana Fever, a surprise to absolutely no one.
The Indiana Fever had 36 of their 40 games in the 2024 season scheduled for national TV – up from 22 last year.
Teams also moved their games against the Fever to larger arenas to meet extra ticket demand.
Clark helped the NCAA attract 18.9 million viewers to the women’s championship game, more than the 14.8 million who watched the men’s championship game.
She has also signed a contract with Nike worth more than $20 million.
