On Tuesday, Qerim appeared alongside co-hosts Stephen A. Smith and Shannon Sharpe, as well as guests PK Subban, Tim Legler and Dan Orlovsky.

Qerim stunned in a long-sleeved corset-style top that she paired with a pearl necklace and a large shiny cross pendant.

Her ensemble caught the attention of many watching from home and took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to praise her.

One of these fans labeled Qerim “gorgeous”.

A second said she was “looking like a princess dressed in white”.

While a third simply added: “Beautiful and stunning necklace, Molly.”

One of the main topics covered on Tuesday was former regular guest JJ Redick’s first press conference as coach of the Los Angeles Lakers on Monday.

Smith took the opportunity to congratulate his former teammate as the team discussed their expectations for Redick and company.

“To JJ Redick, number one, congratulations,” Smith said.

“Number two, I don’t know how it works on other networks, but we support our teammates here.

“So make no mistake, we are all rooting for you, we all want you to succeed JJ.

“Congratulations, and we hope you make the Lakers a great success and have a very prosperous coaching career.”

But while they may want Redick to succeed, that hasn’t stopped avid Lakers fan Sharpe from turning up the pressure, explaining that “the expectation is the championship.”

“The Lakers have been to 32 NBA Finals and won 17.

First look at the numbers

First Take has grown from strength to strength under the guidance of Stephen A. Smith and Molly Qerim over the past year.

ESPN’s weekday debate show averaged 496,000 viewers in 2023 — making it the most-watched year in the show’s history.

Its December average of 611,000 represented a 24% annual increase compared to 2022.

The show has also recorded more than 250 million views on YouTube.

First Take was helped by the addition of Shannon Sharpe alongside Smith and Qerim after he left Fox Sports’ Undisputed.

“You know what the expectations are. You know what you signed up for. You signed up to win a championship.”

Sharpe added to the Lakers fan base: “It doesn’t matter who the players are – all they see is purple and gold.

“And when you wear the purple and gold, you train in the purple and gold, expectations rise.”

The Lakers finished last season seventh in the Western Conference at 47-35.

They were quickly eliminated from the Playoffs in the first round by the Denver Nuggets.
