Qerim, a Connecticut native, returned to his home state for the special broadcast.

First Take was forced out of its usual Manhattan HQ for Wednesday’s NBA Draft.

Molly likened the move to a “high school reunion” and was impressed with her outfit choice.

The anchor rocked a tight white top along with a dangling necklace for the broadcast.

She teamed the look with huge flared trousers, colored in different shades of green.

“First Take Back in Bristol and Molly looks beautiful,” wrote one viewer on X.

“Molly Qerim is the best sportscaster in the world!” said another.

“So beautiful baby, that sweet smile,” added a third.

First Take began in 2007 and was broadcast from Studio E in Bristol for its first eleven years.

The show moved to Seaport Studios in Manhattan, New York in September 2018.

ESPN Shocks First Location Change Ahead of NBA Draft as Stephen A. Smith Complains: ‘I’m Trapped in a Closet’

The return to Connecticut on Wednesday was not universally appreciated by everyone, with lead analyst Stephen A. Smith left in New York.

Smith complained that he was “in a closet” while the rest of the panel headed upstate.

Fellow analyst Chris ‘Mad Dog’ Russo advocated a move back to Bristol because “traffic was better”.

“I will say this,” Smith complained in response.

“Normally I would sit there [Mad Dog Russo] and say you need drug testing, I’m not driving to Bristol.

Molly Qerim’s life in the spotlight

Molly Qerim rose through the ranks to become one of ESPN’s biggest stars.

The popular sports presenter began her media career in 2006 at ESPN and spent four years with the network.

She then covered college basketball and football for the CBS Sports Network in New York.

Qerim balanced this with hosting duties for the NFL Network in Los Angeles – fronting NFLAM and NFL Fantasy Live.

The host returned to ESPN in 2015 and immediately took on the role of First Take anchor.

And Qerim has been a popular and ever-present host of the daily sports debate show ever since.

“But considering you guys are in a studio and I’m in a damn closet in New York City, I might consider it.”

“This is a mess,” laughed Qerim in response, adding, “You deserve better than Stephen A.”

Later that day, Smith was surprised by the New York Knicks’ surprise selection in the NBA Draft.

The 56-year-old went from “ecstatic” to speechless in seconds on live TV.

The first broadcast airs every weekday at 10am ET on ESPN.
