FOX Sports’ Skip Bayless infuriated NBA fans by selecting Oklahoma City Thunder superstar Shai Gilgeous-Alexander as his MVP.
Gilgeous-Alexander had an incredible season in which he led the Thunder to first place in the NBA’s Western Conference.
The 25-year-old also averaged an incredible 30.1 points, 6.3 assists and 5.5 rebounds per game while shooting 53.5% from the field and 35.3% from deep.
Bayless believes Gilgeous-Alexander should receive the NBA Most Valuable Player award this season.
But the Undisputed host wants the Thunder guard to receive the award not so much for his achievements on the court — but because he is “worn out” by the dominance of Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic.
Jokic has won the MVP title in two of the last three seasons and was runner-up last year.

“Is he better than Joker in a vacuum? Would I take Joker over SAG?” Skip said on Monday’s Undisputed.
“Of course. He’s much better.
“He’s the best basketball player right now. But did he have the biggest impact?
“Maybe I got a little burnt out on Joker, although Joel [Embiid] I won last year, so you can’t even do it consecutively.
“But it seems like the last four years he’s been the best basketball player.
“So, I’m a little tired of Joker being the better player? Yeah.”
Bayless also tried to argue that Gilgeous-Alexander is a worthy MVP in his own right.
“Shay Gilgeous-Alexander is the truth, man,” he added.
“Night after night after night, his midrange is completely unstoppable.
“He took the younger team on his shoulders and led them to first place.”
FANS QUESTION SKIP’S TRIAL
Many NBA fans were upset with Bayless’ reasoning for his MVP selection.
“All-time low for Undisputed here,” said one fan.
“Wrong,” added another fan.
Gilgeous-Alexander, who has an insane car collection, believes he would be a deserving MVP in his three-way battle with Jokic and Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic.
“I hope I can, yes. I think all the guys are deserving, everyone has their case,” he said, via ESPN.
“Whatever happens, happens. But whoever succeeds is deserving, for sure.”
Many NBA experts predicted Jokic would win the award for a third time.
