NBA All-Star Paul George is expected to sign a four-year, $212 million contract with the Philadelphia 76ers.
The free agent was unable to reach an agreement with the LA Clippers despite months of negotiations, and it appears his car collection is headed to Pennsylvania.
His deal includes a player option for the 2027-28 season, per ESPN.
“Paul is a tremendous talent and an elite player. We feel fortunate for the five years we spent with him,” the Clippers said in a statement.
“During that time, he went to three All-Star Games, made the most 3-point shots in franchise history and helped take the team to a place it had never been.
“His performances in Games 5 and 6 against Utah in 2021 will not be forgotten by anyone associated with the Clippers.
“We traded a lot to bring Paul and Kawhi together [Leonard]and in return, we had five seasons of contention.
“Even though we didn’t reach our ultimate goal, we appreciate the opportunities we had with Paul.”
George, 34, will join fellow All-Stars Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey as the 76ers look to take on the NBA champion Boston Celtics.
It’s a formidable lineup for opposing teams, and George has an equally star-studded squad in his garage.

Inside the NBA is a unique sports entertainment program, as evidenced by ESPN’s continued failure to create its own version of the show in recent years.
The NBA won’t be the same without Kenny and Ernie trying to make sense of Shaq and Chuck’s endless fights every Tuesday night.
