Clark topped the fan voting charts, receiving 700,735 votes to get her into the game.

Reese also received a lot of love from fans, garnering 381,518 votes, seventh most in the league.

Clark and Reese are having spectacular rookie seasons and are in a tight race for the Rookie of the Year title.

Reese is averaging a double-double so far, averaging 13.2 points, 11.8 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game.

Meanwhile, Clark is averaging 16 points, 5.7 rebounds and 7.1 assists per game.

Although the two were considered rivals, Clark shared the excitement of finally being on the same side as Reese.

“I don’t think I’ve ever been her teammate before, even on USA Basketball or something,” she said Tuesday.

“So I know people will be very excited about it, but I hope it doesn’t hurt everyone.”

Reese also previously expressed a desire to share the court with Clark wearing the same jersey.

“Oh my God, I love Caitlin,” Reese said ahead of the 2023-24 NCAA season.

‘It’s because of me too,’ says Angel Reese as Chicago Sky star counters Caitlin Clark’s WNBA narrative

“We’ve been competing since we were in AAU. Back in our AAU days, we always competed.

“I remember she was on the All Iowa Attack, and we played against each other in AAU.

“One day, hopefully, she and I can be teammates, because she’s a great player, a great shooter, a great person and a great teammate.”

Fans shared their excitement about the two rookies entering the All-Star Game together and made some comparisons between them and other basketball legends.

“CAITLIN CLARK AND ANGEL REESE MADE THE WNBA ALLSTAR GAME AND ARE PLAYING ON THE SAME TEAM,” said a fan with a photo of Shaq and Kobe Bryant.
