NBA star Draymond Green drew attention on social media with his comments about Paul George leaving the Los Angeles Clippers as a free agent.
The 34-year-old four-time All-Star forward for the Golden State Warriors criticized the Clippers for not sending George — who ended up signing a lucrative contract with the Philadelphia 76ers — to his preferred destination.

There have been multiple reports that the Clippers and Warriors were interested in potentially reaching a sign-and-trade deal that would send George to Golden State.
Instead, nine-time All-Star George agreed to a four-year, $212 maximum contract with the 76ers, which didn’t sit well with Green.
“Paul George was going to go to the Warriors,” Green said on his self-titled YouTube podcast.
“We wanted Paul George to go to the Warriors…The Clippers didn’t really want to play ball. They didn’t want to help him get to where he wanted to be, so in turn they get nothing in return.”
Four-time NBA champion Green then criticized the Clippers, believing they were not loyal to George.
“[For the Clippers] not being willing to play ball on a board and negotiate where [George] wants to go because – it is what he is – one of the best players in the history of his organization, I really don’t want to hear people saying, ‘That guy wasn’t loyal, KD left that team, so-and-so left that team, they didn’t they are loyal.
“Most of these organizations are not loyal.”
Green admitted he understood why the Clippers didn’t trade George to the Warriors, saying, “You don’t want him in the same division as you.”
But NBA fans were surprised by Green’s “loyalty” comment toward the Clippers.
“Salty Draymond, he didn’t go to the Warriors,” wrote one.

“Most companies are not loyal. This is business,” commented another.
“Teams need to do what’s right for them,” said a third.
George will join the 76ers, where he will join former MVP Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey.
Philadelphia hopes to reach the second round for the first time in the Embiid era.
