Qerim has been on vacation since June 26, with First Take currently off air.

The show was moved to ESPN2 earlier this month due to the network’s comprehensive coverage of the Wimbledon tennis championships.

Molly teased her return on Tuesday by posting a photo of herself sitting in the ESPN studios to her 674,000 Instagram followers.

“See you all later this week,” she wrote.

Qerim took it a step further, showing off her wardrobe choice ahead of her comeback show.

She posted a photo of a cream vest, paired with a black dress and sunglasses.

“Choosing my outfit like it’s the first day of school @firsttake,” she wrote.

“See you all in the morning!”

Molly’s return can’t come soon enough for some frustrated viewers who want her and Stephen A. Smith to get back on the show.

“Hey @espn, what the hell? Any tennis matches on espn and espn2? No, first catch or lift? Very wrong!” angered one viewer on Wednesday.

‘We’ve hit a nerve,’ shouts Molly Qerim as First Take guest replacing Stephen A. Smith tries to cut segment short

“We don’t care about sneakers like that anymore. I need @stephenasmith @MollyQerim @ShannonSharpe on my television screen in the morning,” wrote another.

“Molly come back please,” added a third.

Qerim has hosted First Take alongside lead analyst Stephen A. since 2015.

Originally, she was given the position on a temporary basis, but quickly stepped into the role.

First Take’s popularity has skyrocketed in recent months since the arrival of FS1’s Shannon Sharpe.

Molly Qerim’s life in the spotlight

Molly Qerim rose through the ranks to become one of ESPN’s biggest stars.

The popular sports presenter began her media career in 2006 at ESPN and spent four years with the network.

She then covered college basketball and football for the CBS Sports Network in New York.

Qerim balanced this with hosting duties for the NFL Network in Los Angeles – fronting NFLAM and NFL Fantasy Live.

The host returned to ESPN in 2015 and immediately took on the role of First Take anchor.

And Qerim has been a popular and ever-present host of the daily sports debate show ever since.

The NFL Hall of Famer recently signed a four-year contract extension with ESPN.

And Molly was delighted to see her co-star rewarded for his hard work since arriving at the network.

“I want to say a big congratulations, you were an amazing addition to the show,” she told Sharpe last month.

“You’ve shot up the rankings, but you’ve been a great teammate.

“We are so grateful to have you. Many congratulations on your new long-term extension with ESPN.”
