STEPHEN Curry may be dealing with a concerning injury following Team USA’s victory over Team Canada on Thursday.
Curry was photographed walking around town with teammates wearing ice packs on both knees.
This happened after Team USA defeated Team Canada 86-72 in an exhibition match at T-Mobile Arena.
The Golden State Warriors guard made 4 of 7 shots for 12 points.
Curry looked in good shape as he made three of six three-pointers and dished out three assists.
Despite being hit with ice packs on his knees, Team USA coach Steve Kerr had nothing to say about the guard’s injury.
Curry had an injury scare while Team USA trained in Las Vegas for training camp.
The 36-year-old guard was seen having his right hand examined after Team USA’s second friendly game.
Kerr quickly shut down the rumors by told the media there was nothing to worry about.
During today’s friendly matchup, Anthony Edwards led the way for Team USA by scoring 13 points.
Jrue Holiday added 11 points and Anthony Davis scored 10.
Team USA will compete in four more exhibitions before arriving in France.
Canada was led by RJ Barrett, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Dillon Brooks.
Barrett scored 12 points, while Gilgeous-Alexander and Brooks each scored 10.
Former President Barack Obama was in attendance at the game after greeting the team at training camp on Wednesday.
Several prominent basketball coaches and players were also present at the exhibition.
Jerry Colangelo, Mike Krzyzewski, Jim Boeheim, Dwyane Wade, Carmelo Anthony, Dawn Staley and others showed their support for Team USA.
Team USA struggled to start the game down 11-1 midway through the first quarter.
But they quickly recovered and led 41-33 at halftime and never looked back.
The USA team’s next match will be against Australia, in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, on Monday.
Kerr rolled out a starting lineup of Curry, Jrue Holiday, Devin Booker, LeBron James and Joel Embiid.
But Kerr made it clear that the lineup could change in the future and not make a big deal out of it.
