Caitlin Clark, Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell had great performances on the court.

And outside of that, McNutt and Williamson caught the eye with their entrance.

The WNBA teased her appearance in an Instagram post introducing the players who arrived for yesterday’s highlight game.

McNutt and Williamson will say the best was saved for last, when they appeared as the finale.

Williamson, 36, wore an all-white ensemble that included a dress and sneakers.

McNutt, 34, had a matching pants and jacket combo, both transitioning from pink to yellow in the middle.

Williamson has replaced First Take co-host Molly Qerim in recent weeks.

A former volleyball player at the University of Miami, Christine has worked for the Big 12 Network and FOX Sports.

She joined ESPN in 2019 and has since become a versatile member of the rotation.

In addition to her anchoring roles on the network, Williamson has also showcased her reporting skills in recent months.

Molly Qerim storms off First Take set after heated quarterback debate with ESPN star in eventful return to show

Fans were impressed with his performances, but Qerim returned to the screen last week.

She went on vacation for two weeks, with First Take not even airing for the first three days of last week due to ESPN’s coverage of Wimbledon.

But in typical Molly fashion, she soon made up for lost time, jokingly walking off the set Thursday during a debate about Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott.

She was joined by Courtney Cronin, Harry Douglas and Bart Scott in the ESPN studio.

The panel was asked who they believed to be the best quarterback currently playing in the NFC.

First look at the numbers

First Take has grown from strength to strength under the guidance of Stephen A. Smith and Molly Qerim over the past year.

ESPN’s weekday debate show averaged 496,000 viewers in 2023 — making it the most-watched year in the show’s history.

Its December average of 611,000 represented a 24% annual increase compared to 2022.

The show has also recorded more than 250 million views on YouTube.

First Take was helped by the addition of Shannon Sharpe alongside Smith and Qerim after he left Fox Sports’ Undisputed.

Douglas, a former NFL player, clearly stated that he believed it was Prescott, the Dallas Cowboys player.

“For me, it’s Dak,” he said. “He’s in the top two when it comes to touchdowns and quarterback rating. He is third in passing yards.

“You look at his athleticism and we saw more of that last year. Using his legs to extend plays.”

“Do you think Dak Prescott is the best quarterback in the NFC?” interrupted an incredulous Molly.

“Are we talking about the regular season or the playoffs?” she asked.

“I’m talking, period. I think Dak Prescott is No. 1,” Douglas responded.

Molly appeared to be increasingly agitated and asked Douglas if he would trust Prescott at the Super Bowl with the “game on the line.”

“I got him, America!” she shouted, as Douglas responded, “That’s not the point.”

“I’m leaving!” Molly finally shouted, leaving the set and watching a portion of the debate from behind the cameras.
