BRONNY James’ NBA career is underway in Summer League, but not everyone is convinced of his talent.

NBA Finals MVP Jaylen Brown sat courtside for the Los Angeles Lakers-Boston Celtics Summer League matchup and was caught talking about Bronny.

Brown was sitting courtside with WNBA star rookie Angel Reese and his girlfriend Kysre Gondrezick.

As they watched the game, Brown was seen on video leaning toward them and making a comment about their performance.

In the video, Brown said, “I don’t think Bronny is a professional.”

Brown quickly realized that his side comments were caught on camera and shared that he hopes to see Bronny’s growth in a tweet.

“It’s flexible to have your son by your side in the NBA, it reflects greatness and longevity!” He wrote.

“Bronny has all the tools around him to be successful. I look forward to watching his growth.”

Bronny was selected with the 55th pick in the NBA Draft by the Los Angeles Lakers to play alongside his father, LeBron James.

The pick was questioned by many, as Bronny didn’t have the flashiest stats in college, but he impressed at the NBA Combine.

Summer League served as a chance for Bronny to prove he can compete against NBA talent, but he has struggled from the start.

He made just 6 of 26 shots from the field, and 12 of those misses were threes.

LeBron James Exclaims ‘This Is Tough’ As Son Bronny Scores First Points In LA Lakers Uniform During Tough Debut

Bronny has yet to hit a three-pointer and has scored just 15 points in three games.

His biggest strength has been his defense, consistently getting steals and blocks during his Summer League appearances.

Still, he will need to record more offensive production if he wants to open the season in the NBA and not the G-League.

Bronny seems to understand this, but doesn’t seem concerned about his level of play at the moment.

“I feel like I’m in a little bit of a crisis right now,” he said after the game against the Houston Rockets on Friday.

What does the new TV deal mean for the NBA?

By US Sun Assistant Sports Editor Damian Burchardt.

The new television rights deal promises to be a big win for NBA players.

The league is expected to more than double revenue from its media partners, pocketing around $6.9 billion per year, which will inevitably lead to a huge salary cap increase in 2025-26.

This will cause the value of players’ contracts to skyrocket.

Projected numbers suggest we could see the first $100 million per year deal being signed soon.

Boston Celtics All-Star Jayson Tatum is currently set to earn the highest single-season salary in NBA history, bringing in $71.5 million in 2029-30.

It seems like basketball fans would be on the losing side of the fight if the NBA and TNT actually split.

Inside the NBA is a unique sports entertainment program, as evidenced by ESPN’s continued failure to create its own version of the show in recent years.

The NBA won’t be the same without Kenny and Ernie trying to make sense of Shaq and Chuck’s endless fights every Tuesday night.

Bronny has two more games to go to get out of the crisis and prove that he belongs in the league.

The Lakers face the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday and face the Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday.

Regardless of whether or not he makes the Lakers’ NBA roster, Bronny is eager to play basketball at the next level.

“I look forward to any basketball I play, no matter what level I’m playing at,” he said.
