JIMMY Butler is set to have a scan on his knee after suffering a possible MCL injury during the Miami Heat’s loss to the Philadelphia 76ers last night.

Butler tried to trick Kelly Oubre Jr into trying for a layup, but his right knee buckled after his opponent appeared to fall on top of him.

“I fell, he fell and my knee just didn’t work right, I guess,” he later admitted.

“I don’t know. It’s not a good feeling, I can tell you.”

Butler remained in the game, but scored just 12 points after the injury – making 3 of 14 shots.

The Heat took a 12-point lead into halftime, but their scoring slowed to allow Philadelphia a comeback victory at home.

Miami hosts Chicago, Fla., on Friday night, looking to secure the No. 8 seed and a game against the Boston Celtics.

And it remains to be seen whether Butler will make it to court.

“It didn’t feel like I could do much, which sucks with game time and everything,” he added.

“I hope I’m OK. I hope I wake up tomorrow and can still move. Right now, I can’t say that’s the case.”

Butler revealed that he hoped “the adrenaline would come back” and he could help the Heat.

But he made just two shots in the fourth quarter as the injury took its toll.

“That just wasn’t the case,” he continued.

“I wasn’t able to do anything on either side of the ball. I think I hurt us more than I actually helped.”

Off the court, Butler enjoys a glamorous lifestyle.

The Heat star grew up extremely poor after being abandoned by his father as a child and kicked out of the family home when he was just 13.
