NBA fans weren’t afraid to praise the Golden State Warriors star for his performance in Team USA103-86 victory over South Sudan on Wednesday.

Curry shot 1-of-9 from the field, including 0-of-6 from deep.

The two-time MVP scored just three points.

Curry played 21 minutes of play and recorded four assists and one rebound.

The 36-year-old was one of six players to score in double figures for Team USA during Sunday’s victory against Serbiawhile recording 11 points while shooting 3 of 7 from downtown, as well as three rebounds and three assists.

But Curry is now just 7-of-29 from long range in his last four games, including the team’s last two exhibition games.

NBA fans shared their concerns regarding the 10-time NBA All-Star on X.

“I don’t know what’s wrong with Steph. He’s playing horrible at the Olympics,” commented one.

“Chef Curry decided not to cook today,” wrote another.

“My idol was throwing bricks,” added a third.

“Curry should be on the bench for the rest of the Olympics,” added a fourth.

Curry is still expected to be one of the Team USATop perimeter shooters for coach Steve Kerr, who is the NBA star’s head coach for the Warriors.

This is Curry’s first Olympics in his career.

Miami Heat’s Bam Adebayo led the way for the Americans with 18 points in the win over South Sudan.

NBA stars Kevin Durant, LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Devin Bookerand Derrick White also finished in double figures in scoring.

Team USA will advance to compete in the knockout stage of the Olympic men’s basketball tournament.
