SUPERSTAR WNBA rookies Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark have been sensational this season.
But none of them made Team USA’s roster ahead of the Paris Olympics.
Both put on a show in the WNBA All-Stars’ 117-109 victory over the Olympians
Indiana Fever big man Clark finished with a team-high 10 assists, while Reese added 12 points and 11 rebounds.
The WNBA Rookie of the Year candidates are enjoying a hard-earned break.
And they chose to spend it in very different ways.
Reese, 22, crossed the Atlantic straight after All-Star weekend.
She participated in Team USA’s exhibition game against Germany in London, with LeBron James starring in a narrow victory.
The Chicago Sky forward wore an all-pink outfit and was caught on the jumbotron that saw her wave to the camera.
She also watched the US women’s victory over Germany.
Next, Reese went to Paris and turned heads at a glamorous Olympics launch party at an art museum.
The rising star also managed some downtime and shared a series of racy bikini photos on her Instagram Stories.
Reese posted a glamorous poolside photo, showing off her silver and gold watch, Chanel sunglasses and “Unapologetic” wrist tattoo.
Clark, 22, and his boyfriend — former Iowa men’s basketball player Connor McCaffery — went on vacation in Mexico.
He currently works as a staff assistant for the Indiana Pacers, so he is also on a break from the NBA.
They enjoyed some time in the water.
McCaffrey was photographed sitting next to Will Matthiessen, a former Stanford pitcher who is currently in the Pittsburgh Pirates system.
He is dating Clark’s Fever teammate Lexie Hull, who has been seen in photos alongside the rookie.
Clark admitted after the All-Star Game that he needed a break.
But after returning from Mexico, she returned to the practice court this week.
Reese’s Sky will face the Phoenix Mercury on August 15th.
The Fever face the same opponent a day later.
