ANTHONY JOSHUA has given his opinion on his prediction for Tyson Fury’s rematch with Oleksandr Usyk.

The pair, aged 36 and 37 respectively, are set to renew their rivalry in a second successive Saudi clash in December.

Usyk came close to knocking out the Brit on his way to a split decision win.

Former two-time unified champion Joshua was an interested observer at the Riyadh ring and will likely do so again on December 21st.

But AJ doesn’t predict that the Wythenshawe warrior will avenge the only defeat of his glittering professional career.

He said Queensberry Promotions: “I think it will be a difficult fight at the beginning and then I feel like Usyk will win again.

“He’s a class operator and I feel like Usyk is one of the best. That’s why I think he’s going to win.”

Fury was left with a despondent figure after having his dreams of indisputable glory destroyed by the enigmatic Usyk.

But he is confident of doing a number on the southpaw – the first undisputed heavyweight king since Lennox Lewis – for a second time.

In a June Instagram video, he roared, “Hey guys, Tyson Fury here. Back to the gym, as you can see.

“[I’m] counting the days until I get my rescue in Usyk.

“December 21st will be my turn. I’ve done everything in boxing, but I haven’t come back from a defeat.

“And I love it, the chance to redeem myself.

“December 21st is just me – undisputed heavyweight, here I come.”

The caption accompanying the former WBC king read: “On December 21, in Riyadh, in the heart of the kingdom, the king will reclaim his throne and become undisputed.

“Usyk, I’m coming for you! Prepare for the Gypsy King! The path to redemption is all mine.

“I know what I have to do, I have seen my shortcomings and I believe that I am inevitable.”
