McGregor, 35, enjoyed the fruits of his labor during his injury-caused hiatus from the Octagon and had many drinks of his Proper No.12 whiskey and Forged Irish Stout.

And he had a few drinks last weekend, just NINE weeks before his comeback clash with fan favorite Michael Chandler.

The Notorious was seen drinking some of his Forged Stout at a launch party at Nanny’s of Duleek in County Meath.

According to Bloody ElbowMcGregor didn’t go overboard with the dark stuff as he took part in a grueling day of training with his sparring partners.

Keeping things under control, however, didn’t stop him from ensuring paying punters got their fill of Forged Stout.

McGregor shared images from the night with his 47 million Instagram followers, some of whom were quick to voice their concerns.

One commented: “Nine weeks after his first fight in just under three years.”

Another said: “The odds of having him as the favorite are crazy. [Put the] house in Chandler.”

And another said: “Do you remember when he took fighting seriously?”

One commented: “He’s going to get hurt against Chandler! Is there no one but men in his camp telling him it’s still 2015?”

Another chimed in: “Yes, now I’m really worried about the next to fight.”

One commented on the video saying: “Too many distractions, TBh. I’m worried about June 29th.”

Former two-division champion McGregor has imposed a self-imposed alcohol ban now that he is just over eight weeks away from his return to the Octagon.

He wrote on Instagram earlier this month: “My brother Justin Bieber, Mac has your back for life!

“From Beverly Hills to the Bahamas! See you in Vegas, bro, the game is on, Mac is back!

“Five more delicious nights and then until tonight, I’M NOT LEAVING.”

McGregor hasn’t entered the Octagon since breaking his left leg in his trilogy fight against Dustin Poirier almost three years ago.

Inside McGregor’s Notorious Lifestyle

With more sides to his personality than an octagon, Conor McGregor’s rise has been fascinating.

And he plans to get back in the win column with a viral knockout to the head of Chandler.

The UFC’s first simultaneous two-weight world champion recently told James Corden: “I’m the Terminator now.

“I have a titanium rod that goes up to my knee and down to the bone, down to my ankle.

“It’s unbreakable.

“I want and I will work to land that kick with that steel bar on the leg against an opponent and get him out of there.”

He added: “I want to see a picture of me in the octagon with a broken leg.

“And then I want to see a picture of me in the octagon with my leg wrapped around my opponent’s neck or head and putting them side by side.”
