UFC legends Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal are set for a long-awaited rematch, but there’s a twist.
Diaz, 39, and Masvidal, 39, fought at UFC 244 in 2019, with the latter winning to capture the BMF (Baddest Mother F****r) title.
Many have called for a rematch between the two lightweights and their prayers have finally been answered, but it won’t be an MMA fight.
Instead, the American brutes will face off in a 10-round boxing match.
The two fighters only boxed professionally once throughout their storied careers.
Masvidal entered a boxing ring in 2005 when he defeated Joseph Benjamin, while Diaz lost to YouTuber Jake Paul last year.
When does Diaz x Masvidal happen?
Masvidal and Diaz are scheduled to face each other on June 1 at the Kia Forum in California.
The card starts at 10pm UK time and the main event is expected to start from 2am the following morning.
