BOXING fans were left stunned after DAZN announced the pay-per-view price for Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk.
Fury, 35, and Usyk, 37, face off in Saudi Arabia on May 18 for the undisputed heavyweight title.
The fight will be broadcast on Sky Sports, TNT and streaming service DAZN in the United Kingdom.
Fans will have to pay £24.99 on DAZN and will also receive a one-month subscription, while it costs £24.95 on Sky Sports.
Existing DAZN subscribers will save £1 as the price for them is £23.99… a deal that has sparked plenty of mockery on social media.
One said: “I saw ‘For existing subscribers’ and was happy, then realized they only took £1 off .”
Another added: “£1 cheaper if you already have DAZN .”
A third responded: “Howling @DAZNBoxing £1 off for existing customers? ”
A fourth replied: “They got £1. I’d rather they keep it.”
And a fifth said: “£1 discount for existing subscribers is bad.”
