KATE ABDO’S boxing trainer boyfriend has revealed Jamie Carragher has apologized for his “not loyal” joke broadcast on live TV.
Carragher made a strange dig while working at CBS Sports with host Abdo.
He joked “not to Malik” after presenter Abdo said she was loyal to her beloved Manchester United, prompting her to ask: “Why would you ask that?”
Scott – a former heavyweight boxer who now trains Deontay Wilder – initially didn’t like the joke.
And he threatened to “appear physically” if Carragher bothered his partner again.
But Scott was later photographed with the Liverpool legend and everyone was all smiles alongside Abdo.
Now the retired boxer has revealed that Carragher has apologized and the fight has been ended.
He said Online Casino in: “Jamie had an awkward moment and said something he shouldn’t have said – how many times in our lives have we all done that?
“You cut everything off and apologize like men, what he did, and life goes on. I respect anyone who has an accident and is man enough to apologize to the person and the person’s partner.
“What Jamie said was that Kate was hurt, but they all made it up and dealt with it collectively at the time.

“I said my opinion about it, but the truth is we all got together and looked each other in the eye and had good food and great conversations.
“I never had a strong opinion of Jamie Carragher, just the things he said, but upon meeting him I really enjoyed his company.
“I have the utmost respect for him, as well as the rest of the panel.”
Scott, who is currently training Wilder for his return fight against Zhilei Zhang, had lunch with Carragher, Micah Richards and Thierry Henry.
He revealed: “It was good that I spoke up for my partner, I was defending the person I love.
“But I have nothing but the utmost respect for Jamie, Micah and Thierry.
“I love them so much and it was great to go over there and shake their hands.
“We had lunch and laughed. Thierry and I shared tips on film study. It was very intriguing and refreshing to have a legend like him sharing the details of his world of football.
“Even Jamie, there’s something I admire about him, he was a great player in his day, he’s doing a great job on television and he’s always smiling.
“And Micah is the source of humor on their show, they are the best panel.”
Fighting Kates
Scott also trained Abdo ahead of a possible Misfits Boxing debut in the summer.
The former Sky Sports reporter, 42, opened the door to a row with former glamor model Katie Price, 45.
And Scott warned: “Kate has been offered some Misfits action, dates need to line up.
“It’s something we will face when the time is right, it probably won’t be as soon as this summer, but stay tuned. She can really fight.
“She is technically very good and has a great work ethic. Technically its base is very good and it makes strong combinations.
“She has knowledge of boxing because of her work. She is very interested in putting into practice the skills she learned from her partner and I am supporting her. We haven’t chosen an opponent yet.
