KSI has laid a STONE ahead of his return to boxing – leaving fans convinced a fight with Jake Paul “could actually happen”.
The YouTuber-turned-boxer suffered defeat for the first time in October after losing a controversial decision to Tommy Fury.
KSI weighed 183lb (13st) for the fight, but according to his coach Alexis Demetriades he has bulked up over a stone to 200lb (14st 2lb).
Demetriades said Fred talks about fighting: “He’s in the region of 200 pounds.
“The bonus is that he packs a really strong punch. Much stronger than he has ever given before in his life.
“But now we need a tank of gas to fuel that 200 pounds. So you need to cut some of that back to get what you want.”
The taller KSI fought at 193 pounds before defeating Prime’s business partner Logan Paul in their 2019 rematch.
But he boxed at 175 pounds, sparking fears he will NEVER fight Logan’s brother Jake, who is preparing to move up to heavyweight.
Paul, 27, faces boxing icon Mike Tyson, 57, in a controversial showdown on July 20, scrutinizing their 30-year age difference.
But Demetriades’ revelation about KSI’s weight has fans hoping the grudge match is one step closer.
One said: “KSI vs Jake could actually be happening.”
Another added: “No excuses then, he fights Jake at 185-190.”
The lightest weight Paul has weighed was 183 pounds which he scaled before losing to Fury, 25, in February 2023, which is also his only loss.
But his last two fights were at the 200-pound cruiserweight limit, while he claimed to be at 230 pounds before his fight with Tyson.
Demetriades hinted that he would give KSI the green light to face his archenemy at any weight.
He said: “I’ll leave that to the prosecutors to sort out. As far as I’m concerned, stylistically Jake Paul suits us.
“I don’t care what weight he is. Obviously, we’re going to make it fair because that’s what we’re supposed to do.”
