John’s son Tyson will face Usyk for the undisputed heavyweight crown in Saudi Arabia on Saturday night.

Tempers have already flared after trouble arose when the WBC champion’s father head-butted Stanislav Stepchuk – a member of the other fight team.

But it was John who walked away with blood on his forehead as cameras caught him shouting: “We live for blood and guts.”

As the melee unfolded, Tyson was trapped in another room, but as soon as he emerged, there was a loud roar from his team as the Gypsy King looked stunned at the sight of his father bleeding.

Lowering his arms that were in the air, he asked, “What happened to your head, you idiot?”

However, now John appears to be aiming to give former world champion Tony Bellew the same treatment.

The former wrestler began a feud with Bellew during a media spat afterwards, while explaining the explosive scenes from earlier.

He said: “I was saying this to everyone with ears, let’s be respectful to each other.

“They were singing Usyk, did you think we would just stand there with our fingers in our ears and do nothing?

“I’m full of testosterone. I want to get locked up, man. And it’s only Monday.

John apologized for his actions, although he seemed to place the blame on his rival.

He said: “If you get close to a fighter’s space, you’re going to win something, aren’t you?”

John was then asked about Bellew’s prediction that Tyson could struggle with Usyk due to the elite Ukrainian movement.

But that led to the never-shy warning from the veteran: “Do you see Tony Bellew?

“He’s going to get a headbutt like [Stepchuk] I only have it if he comes close to me.

Bellew suffered a crushing loss to Usyk at cruiserweight in 2018 when he was knocked out.

John never shies away from the spotlight while in camp for Tyson or his youngest son Tommy Fury’s fights.

He had a war of words with Carl Froch while he had a bitter fight with YouTuber KSI last year.

This resulted in KSI spitting at John during a heated argument at an open training event after the latter threw a bottle at the social media influencer.

TYSON FURY VS OLEKSANDR USYK: ALL THE DETAILS YOU NEED BEFORE A HUGE UNDISPUTABLE HEAVYWEIGHT FIGHT

John is a former professional boxer and bare-knuckle fighter whose professional career spanned eight years and 13 fights.

He made his professional debut in 1987 when he lost to rugby league player Adam Fogerty in Halifax, West Yorkshire, but won his next six fights until a draw with David Hopkins in Helsinki on 13 February 1989.

John bounced back with wins against future British title challenger Michael Murray and future Italian title challenger Cesare Di Benedetto and was rewarded with a shot at the vacant Central Area title against Neil Malpass, but lost on points.

He then suffered a knockout defeat against future WBO champion Henry Akinwande, which led to a four-year absence from the ring, before being knocked out in the fourth round against Steve Garber in Manchester in 1995.

In 2011, Fury was found guilty of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm for gouging out a man’s eye in a fight in 2010 and was sentenced to 11 years in prison.

The victim was left half-blind after a 12-year dispute erupted into violence at a car auction in 2010. Fury was released from prison in February 2015.
