There was a time when Jake Paul bounced from relationship to relationship with beautiful models or other influencers.
But now, the 27-year-old YouTuber-turned-boxer is in love with beautiful speed skater Jutta Leerdam.
Last month, the pair celebrated one year since going public with their romance.
The 25-year-old Dutch beauty, silver medalist at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, kept the Problem Child grounded and focused.
The pair got together after they started flirting on Instagram.
They went public with their romance in April 2023, with Paul sharing a photo of them together.
“I’m Dutch now,” Paul captioned the photo that showed him holding hands with Leerdam in a photo carousel.
When Paul suffered the first loss of his career to Tommy Fury, Leerdam provided the perfect support for his battered ego.
She’ll likely be rooting for his corner when he faces Mike Tyson on July 20 at AT&T Stadium in Texas.
First impressions
Both Paul and Leerdam have been involved in high-profile breakups.
He was engaged to model and influencer Julia Rose before they called it quits in 2022.
Paul joked on Valentine’s Day that he was celebrating the occasion with his boxing gloves.
Leerdam dated Dutch speed skater Koen Verweij for over five years before calling it quits.
Heartbroken, Paul and Leerdam found each other on Instagram.
They started talking, before finally agreeing to meet.
Paul was wined and dined at Leerdam in Miami, and they blossomed from there.
As of April 2023, they are officially an item.
Dealing with defeat
No boxer likes to taste defeat, especially when it happens for the first time.
Paul was, by his own admission, at his lowest point after being defeated by rival Tommy Fury.
In the past, he would have had no one to turn to.
But this time, dating a sports star who understands competition, he managed to cry on Leerdam’s shoulder.
Paul said in a YouTube video: “I have a new girlfriend, which is really cool.
“It’s been so refreshing, she’s a world champion and I’m so impressed with her and her work ethic and what an angel she is.
“She is one of the purest-hearted human beings I have met in my life, so genuine and she just changed my perspective and helped me come out of this loss when I was in a dark place.
“She was really there talking about her losses and was able to relate to those things and what I was going through.
“So she’s been a blessing; Jutta, if you’re watching this… hi, you’re amazing.”
Wedding Tips
Perhaps influenced by his brother Logan, who is now engaged to model Nina Agdal, Jake suggested marriage to Leerdam.
Last year, he spoke candidly about the idea of settling down with Leerdam with his older brother on the BS with Jake Paul podcast.
He revealed: “It’s funny. Interestingly, I dream about the same thing (marriage and family) and being my children’s best friend.
“Being there all the time, that’s why I work so hard, is having financial freedom to be able to not work when they are born and be with them all the time… And to do this with my wife at the time, who I believe will be Jutta.”
She is a good influence
In addition to helping him overcome the loss to Fury, Leerdam also helped Paul maintain a winning mentality.
He admitted to us that he was grateful to her for the important role she plays in his boxing career.
Paul told SunSport: “It’s a game changer and I can fully focus on what I want to do with the support here.
“She can give me advice and mental training, even advice on physical performance, and it’s been a game changer.
Mike Tyson’s controversial return

Mike Tyson is back!
Yes, the youngest heavyweight champion of all time – just 20 years old when he achieved the feat – is preparing to lace them up again.
He will face YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul on July 20 in Texas.
The controversial matchup – set for the 80,000-seat AT&T Stadium in Dallas – was scrutinized in relation to the 30-year age difference.
Tyson will be 58 years old when the fight for eternity arrives and almost 20 years after his last professional competition.
He was last seen in the ring in November 2020 for an exhibition with legend Roy Jones Jr, which ended in a draw after eight rounds.
Meanwhile, Paul is 9-1 in the ring, losing only to Tommy Fury in 2023, and has won three times since then.
His fight with Tyson will also be a historic milestone on Netflix, with over 250 MILLION subscribers able to watch the fight.
“She inspires me to be better and I told her from day one, ‘Hey, I want to be like you, I want to be a world champion.’
“So she holds me to that standard.”
Power couple
Although Paul has ambitions to become a boxing champion, Leerdam’s focus will be on the Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics in 2026.
He insisted they have the potential to become sports’ next super couple, following in the footsteps of Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens or André Agassi and Steffi Graf.
In an episode of BS with Jake Paul, he appeared alongside Leerdam, who revealed that he had set the world record for the fastest time to complete 1,000 meters in speed skating, to which Paul responded: “I’m very proud of you.”
He then continued: “I think it’s cool, I was thinking about something the other day…
“By the time you go to the Winter Olympics in two years, that’s when I’ll be fighting for a world championship.
“We could both potentially be world champions.
“Number one in the world together, and I think this might be the first couple to do that.”
