Footage has emerged of John Fury being knocked out TWICE after his “we can’t be beaten” claims amid headbutt embarrassment.

Tyson, the 59-year-old son of the Gypsy King, will face Oleksandr Usyk for the undisputed heavyweight crown in Saudi Arabia on Saturday night.

However, it was the WBC champion’s father who dominated the build-up after head-butting Stanislav Stepchuk – a member of Team Usyk – this week in the build-up to the fight.

John, who was left with a bloody forehead, shouted in the resulting confusion: “We cannot be defeated! We cannot be defeated!”

Although his son Tyson, 35, and even one of his younger sons, Tommy Fury, remain undefeated, some fans are only now realizing that John has been surprised before.

He is a former boxer and bare-knuckle fighter whose professional career spanned eight years and 13 fights.

John made his debut in 1987, losing to rugby league player Adam Fogerty, but won his next six fights until a draw with David Hopkins in Helsinki on 13 February 1989.

He bounced back with victories against future British title challenger Michael Murray and future Italian title challenger Cesare Di Benedetto.

This led to him being rewarded with a shot at the vacant Central Area title against Neil Malpass, but he lost on points.

However, his career came to an end after two setbacks sidelined him.

He first suffered a third-round knockout defeat against future WBO champion Henry Akinwande, which led to a four-year absence from boxing.

John then returned to the ring in 1995, but was brutally knocked out in the fourth round by Steve Garber in Manchester.

It didn’t take long for fans to respond, with one saying: “Explains why he picks on little ones now!!”

Another wrote: “In memory of John, he won these fights.”

A third commented: “I thought a warrior had risen.”

While a fourth added: “Best thing I’ve ever seen on the internet.”

Inside the ring was not the only place where John exchanged blows with his opponents.

He claims to have had “over 100” fights in total during his life and insisted he “never lost outside the ring”.

This included a close fight for which he was paid a whopping £100,000.

Meanwhile, John broke his silence on the head-butting incident and tried to justify it by insisting “I’m a warrior, this is what we do”.

He said: “[They] disrespected my son, the best heavyweight to ever wear a pair of boxing gloves.

“Leaving with all this rubbish. He’s in my face, trying to be smart.

“Coming into my space, ‘Usyk, Usyk,’ nobody cares about them. I was just chanting my own son’s name.

“They got closer, they got closer. So at the end of the day, I’m a warrior, this is what we do.

“We’re fighting people, you go into space and you’re going to get what’s coming.”

But this prompted Usyk to warn Fury and his father John that their secret army of soldiers trained with guns and knives would not tolerate another attack.

However, Tyson seemed completely unconcerned about this threat.

The Gypsy King rocked the Grand Arrivals event last night with a “new style” that left fans claiming he looked like a cross between Boy George and WWE legend The Undertaker.
