TYSON FURY is British boxing’s biggest ever earner after raking in a £300million fortune.

The £80m payout for Saturday’s clash with Oleksandr Usyk means he outperforms rival Anthony Joshua.

Fury has gathered his riches thanks to a trilogy of battles with Deontay Wilder, an £80m five-fight contract with US broadcaster ESPN, a long-standing partnership with TNT and last year’s victory over Francis Ngannou in Riyadh.

If the undefeated Gypsy King becomes undisputed heavyweight champion of the world by adding Usyk’s WBA, IBF and WBO belts to his WBC bracelet, he could write his own checks for the showdowns that follow.

Saudi financiers will offer Fury TEN more bank-breaking paydays, starting with an expected rematch with Usyk and a doubleheader against Joshua.

Promoter Frank Warren, who guided Fury back from 29th place from laughingstock to king of the sport’s stock market, says he will end it all before him.

Asked if his 6-foot-4 star attraction has ever eclipsed his predecessors and rivals, Warren said: “Yes. Without a doubt – by far. He made a LOT of money.

“Think about all the records – the highest-grossing heavyweight fight that took place in Las Vegas, which was him and Deontay Wilder.

“Wembley Stadium against Dillian Whyte was the highest-grossing event they’ve ever had.

“At Tottenham he sold out 60,000 tickets for an outdoor show in December against Derek Chisora – come on. That’s what he is.

If he defeats Usyk, Fury can expect his clashes with Joshua to be the biggest fights in British history.

Saudi combat sport creator Turki Alalshikh wants to make Fury vs Joshua above all else, with February 2025 being his dream date.

And Warren added: “If Tyson goes through, of course we want to see the big fight between Fury and AJ.

“But I don’t think that will be the fight afterwards.

“I don’t think it will be because there is a lot of money involved for the loser of this fight – and the rematch.

“I don’t know what kind of money you would give them to do that.

“That would only happen if someone was out of action after that first fight – that would be one thing. But it will happen quickly, February.”

No promoter fights for his man’s corner like veteran activist Warren, 72, and this week is no different.

For all the positive comments about the new muscles Fury has been flexing in Saudi Arabia, Umbridge has been impressed by how the Mancunian giant’s regularly contradictory comments are no longer given leeway.

Fury, 35, suffers from bipolar disorder which, among other things, can cause major mood swings.

Warren said: “It’s well documented that he is bipolar and I get upset when people keep talking about how he contradicts himself.

“He does this because he is bipolar. I find it offensive that people keep investigating him for things like this.

“I don’t understand, it looks like a small campaign against Tyson Fury.

“He’s been one of our best boxers, he’s gone out and done everything asked of him, overcoming demons that most people would never have come away from.

“He was addicted to drugs and drinking and all that shit and then he came out of it and won fights, won the title, went to people’s backyards and made it.

“Here we are again, he’s fighting a guy who’s undefeated. These are two guys in their prime.”
